Roll With It
Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Isn’t it crazy to think that this time next week it’ll be September? Just so you guys know, despite living in seasonless LA, I will ABSOLUTELY be whipping out the autumn-themed recs. Prepare yourselves!
No Prob Llama

SANDSTONE TEA LLAMA SET - SOCCO SO
My family is big on tea. In the morning, my mom will put on the electric kettle; at night, she’ll boil water on the stove. We have probably 30 different blends of tea sitting in our cupboards right now. We do not own a coffee machine. All this to say that if I were to buy this delightful llama tea set, it would certainly be put to good use, so I should definitely go for it, right? According to the description, it was hand-crafted from sandstone by a sculptor and ceramicist in La Plata near Buenos Aires, Argentina, which is all well and cool, but, more importantly, the teapot stacks into the cup!!! It makes a little llama figure!!! How could I possibly resist???
You’ve Got Mail

VINTAGE INSPIRED AIRMAIL STATIONERY - BAD ASS PAPER LOVER
Bored and lonely and desperate for human contact, I signed up for Rachel Syme’s pen pal-ooza (which you can enter as well, if you’re so inclined). The exchange runs on Secret Santa software, so you receive a match to write to and someone will receive you as a match — a two-in-one deal! The problem is, both my pen pals have now sent me letters written on very nice stationery, and I’m too embarrassed to write back on plain old lined paper. Thus, I embarked on a quest for some paper goods that would add a little more pizzazz to my pen pals’ mailboxes, and fell in love with these old-fashioned Airmail envelopes. Now I’ve just gotta buy some cool stamps to match the vintage vibes — and support the USPS while I’m at it.
Keep On Truckin’

RETRACTABLE WHEELIE SANDALS - MHIGGZ
Y’all ever seen platform sandal wheelies? Yeah, you heard that right. I was crazy about wheelies as a kid, but my parents wouldn’t buy them for me because they thought I would trip and break my arm. Well joke’s on them ‘cause now I skateboard, which is far more likely to lead to injury than cruising around on mobile shoes, and also I’m 21 and I can buy whatever I want. The only thing that’s stopping me from springing for these vintage roller sandals, from the Italian brand Omnia’C, is the fact that they aren’t my size. Curses!
