BLACKSTONE SPIRAL BLEACHED CARGO JEANS - GANNI
I took one look at these Ganni spiral-bleached jeans and immediately decided that I needed them against all odds. Except, well, there was one odd that stopped me in my tracks: the nearly $300 price tag. Luckily, my family stocked up months ago on all the supplies I would need to recreate the look at home — masks, gloves, and a whole lotta bleach. After watching a few “I TRIED BLEACHING MY JEANS” videos on YouTube, I think I’m ready to go ahead and try my hand at some good ol’ fashioned DIY. I’ll keep you guys updated on the final result.
Girl Gang

I am so in love with artist and illustrator Sabrena Khadija’s pretty little prints. Her girls are rendered very simply, with fluid strokes and basic shapes superimposed against solid backdrops, but she still manages to infuse them with so much vibrancy and character that they crackle and pop right off the page. I can’t decide who I want to be friends with more — sparkler girl, swing set girl, pilea plant girl, or art hoe e-girl. I suppose it’s a moot point though, ‘cause I just know that all these girls are much too cool to ever hang out with me.
Tart It Up

FRUIT TARTS - KATE’S CAKES
The proliferation of cake content across my timeline has coincided with a curious discovery on Google Maps; in my quiet little gated community, there is a house right down the street marked as a business — “Kate’s Cakes.” They have several five star reviews and an official Facebook page brimming with pictures of cupcakes and croissants. Yesterday I walked past the house and did a little furtive reconnaissance, but everything seemed normal; at least, nothing from the outside would suggest that the people inside were running a full-scale baked goods operation. Anyway, I called their phone number and now I guess I’m scheduled to pick up some fruit tarts on Friday??? I’m not gonna drop a link to Kate’s Cakes (not trying to doxx myself), but if all the cake discourse is making you hungry, I encourage you to pick up some treats from your local bakery.
