When it comes to earrings, I am emphatically not a dainty pearl studs kind of girl. I love a good statement earring — the bigger and bolder, the better! These pom pom earrings from TitinaStore are right up my alley; they’re super adorable and eye-catching, and I love to feel them swing back and forth as I walk. I couldn’t choose between the lemon or the peach ones, so I sprang for both. Even though they’re made out of cotton thread, they look so plump and vibrant that I’m tempted to take a bite.

I’m trying to learn more about perfumes, and I’m currently in the process of expanding my “fragrance wardrobe.” But when I popped into Sephora and was faced with an entire wall of sparkling crystal bottles, I was overwhelmed. I asked a very nice salesperson for help, letting her know what kind of scents I like — fruity and luscious, sweet like strawberries or sharp like citrus. As soon as she handed me a paper strip spritzed with Dolce and Gabbana 3 L’Imperatrice, I knew it was the one.

I can only describe the scent as a fruit basket. Fragrantica says it has watermelon, kiwi, and rhubarb notes, with a lemon and sandalwood dry down. It’s light, it’s fresh, it’s tart, it’s juicy. It make me think of an Edible Arrangement, the receipt of one being my dearest wish. I can’t wait to wear it every day this summer.

CONFETTI BAG - SUSAN ALEXANDRA

I’m always on the lookout for items that remind me of my childhood, those glorious golden days of pure, unfettered bliss. Susan Alexandra’s beaded purses hit the spot exactly. My favorite is this limited edition Confetti Bag, the grown-up version of a lil bag that my parents bought me from Gymboree when I was four or five. They’re both woven out of candy-colored beads reminiscent of gumdrops or jelly beans, and they’re both tiny, with room enough for keys, coins, and maybe a Polly Pocket.
