CRISS CROSS UPSIZED JEAN IN SUBURBIA - AGOLDE
The best pair of jeans I’ve ever owned were vintage and two sizes too big for me. I wore them with the cuffs rolled and the waist belted. The denim was a subtle light wash, and the pockets had eyelashes embroidered on them. I wore them religiously.
These are not those jeans. Those jeans I somehow lost, inexplicably, and I’ve been searching for a replacement pair ever since. Nothing will ever compare to my beloved Zana Dis, but these AGOLDE jeans come pretty damn close. They have the same wash and oversized fit, necessitating a cuffed ankle, and they feature an unusual criss-cross button-up fly. They’re very cool — a girl stopped me on the street and asked me where I got them — and I’m sure in time they’ll be able to fill the hole in my heart. Eventually. Someday.

ROLLBAHN LEMON PRINT NOTEBOOK - DELFONICS
Notebooks are like catnip to me; over the years, I’ve amassed quite a collection. I know there are people who are sacred and precious about notebooks, who scribble prolifically in their plain black Moleskines, but for me, notebooks are far more prosaic — useful for jotting down grocery or to-do lists, less a creative outlet and more a glorified Post-It note.
Despite already owning far more notebooks than I can reasonably use, when I stumbled upon this Delfonics Rollbahn notebook at Posman Books, I couldn’t say no. Delfonics is a stationery brand based in Japan that has developed a cult following for its elegant design and lasting durability. Their Rollbahn notebooks have graph paper, which I vastly prefer to ruled, and are spiral-bound, which I vastly prefer to perfect-bound (too reminiscent of elementary school composition books.) There are even a few sheet protectors included in the back for important mementos. Plus, I love the graphic citrus print on the front, released as part of its “Fresh Fruits” collection. Sadly, Delfonics products are hard to find in the U.S., so I’ll just link to the Japanese website.
On my wish list:

GREEN CERAMIC NESTING BOWLS SET OF EIGHT - WHITNEYSMITH
LOOK at these beautiful ceramic nesting bowls!! Who needs a bouquet when you can just display these on your dining table instead? The ceramicist Whitney Smith was inspired by lotus flowers, but to me, it looks more like an echeveria succulent. Whatever you’re serving, from salt to cereal to salad, you’ll have a proper size bowl at the ready. In ten years, when I’m living my best life in an UES apartment, I’ll throw a dinner party and these bowls will be the centerpiece. You’re all cordially invited.
