All Dressed Up
Hi everyone, happy Wednesday!
The weather is getting warmer. The sun is setting later. Where I live in California, I’ll be eligible to receive a vaccine in two weeks. The anticipation in the air is so thick we’re practically swimming in it.
I’ve been dreaming about all the clothes I’m gonna break out as soon as I’ve got somewhere to go, so today I’m putting together my ultimate Post-Pandemic Fit, the outfit I wear in all my fantasies about seeing a movie or sitting down at a restaurant or browsing a bookstore. Anyone know exactly what they’re planning to wear on their first “normal” excursion? I’d love to see it!

With their cute leather flower accents, this pair matches the floral vibes of the dress and are perfect for spring, plus the white stitching contrasted against the black leather goes nicely with my third pick, which is…

1960S FRENCH ART OP SOLARITE SUNGLASSES - PENELOPE CAT VINTAGE
...these very Queen’s Gambit-esque sunglasses from the 1960s, made by the French brand Solarite. I’ve never owned sunglasses before — I’ve never felt the need, since my regular glasses are already coated with a layer of UV protection — but this funky retro pair’s got me thinking that perhaps it’s time to start. After all, there’s no faster shortcut to looking cool and chic and mysterious than some dark, oversized shades.
